The item I purchased - a bronze torchere - came waxed and in perfect condition. Mr Wells is competent, helpful and handled a challenging delivery to full satisfaction. 5 stars well earned. Thank you.

I was nervous about buying antiquities remotely - but during pandemic, I could not view in person from across the ocean. Nicholas deftly managed FaceTime, photos, and other tech - and then arranged seamless exactly-as-promised trans-Atlantic shipping of an object even more beautiful in person than online.

Absolutely great to order from, even in the states! Didn't have any shipping issues or hang-ups, and the product was beautiful. Thank you!

Browsing some of the most important and exquisite pieces of antique furniture, I came accross a beautiful Carlton House desk that caught my interest. Speaking with Nicholas was extremely informative and helpful. He is so knowledgeable of all his acquisitions that I was so impressed. Living overseas, he made my acquisition and purchase so very comfortable, secure and easy. Communication was excellent. This boutique is by far the most impressive antique dealer Ive ever come across and houses some of the most beautiful works of furniture, art and lighting. I have never been so happy with my purchase from Nicholas Wells. Looking forward to my next masterpiece from Nicholas Wells.

I found an outstanding desk on a google search. Nicholas was extremely helpful in further guiding my search. His personalized service was much appreciated. He was meticulous in his care in shipping and the follow-up of the shipment. Will undoubtedly work with him again in the future, and hope to see his shop in person. Thank you much for your professionalism.

Grand Tour Wonders

A group of three scagliola trompe l'oeil panels. Two simulate landscape prints against a marble background. The third is a romantic capriccio landscape, the design possibly almost derived from a print. Each signed Amedeo Sayter.
